Francesco Lombardo Inducted Into Family Business Hall Of Fame

We are delighted to announce that Francesco (Franco) Lombardo has been inducted into the Family Business United ‘Family Business Hall of Fame,’ which recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals and their work in advancing the field of family business.

Franco is the Founder and Director of Veritage, a global advisory firm that supports families and their family business to develop the emotional framework needed for a smooth, clear and harmonious succession

Having spent decades working in finance and investment management, Franco witnessed countless families and their businesses collapse because although they had financial security, they didn’t feel emotionally safe with each other. Franco has since dedicated the past twenty years working with some of the world’s most influential and affluent families, to help them create an environment of honesty and accountability.

Drawing on his own personal journey of understanding and growth, Franco developed his unique model ‘Safe Space™’ to encourage families to openly express their thoughts and feelings with one another. Through humanising the conventional conversation surrounding family governance, Franco serves as a compassionate guide supporting families and individuals to nurture a rich emotional legacy.

Franco is the author of the acclaimed book ‘Safe Space: Governance in Action’ – a beautiful collection of stories and insights, to equip the reader with the tools to adopt a holistic manifesto that supports the family and the family business, from the inside out. Franco also hosts the podcast ‘Safe Space’ where he talks with inspiring Next Gen and Family Business Leaders, on how their relationship with wealth influences and shapes their behaviours and actions.

A passionate champion of the next-generation, Franco is a lead facilitator on a number of experiential and Next Gen leadership development programs. Franco is a much sought-after international speaker and has worked with the Milken Institute, Campden Wealth, Tiger21 and numerous YPO.
