Stepping back into the business at the request of his dying grandfather, Sam Greaves has spent the last 4 years working to bring Cleenol back from obscurity, to retain its place as one of the longest existing manufacturers of cleaning chemicals in the UK.
Focused on securing its future existence as a provider of hygiene solutions, Sam’s vision for a cleaner, safer world is based on several key foundations: the long term growth of this family business, that has provided security and employment for employees and their families for over 70 years; the part it plays in supporting the wider local community, including a long term commitment to supporting Katharine House Hospice;
the development of more sustainable products and sustainable relationships with suppliers, customers and competitors; the well being of all employees, where mutual respect is key, supported by a flexibility to working life that remains unique in this industry.
