As excitement builds for the opening of Lido Musselburgh, the team at Buzzworks is thrilled to unveil a menu designed to bring bold Mediterranean flavours to the East Coast.
From authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas to fresh pastas and chargrilled dishes, every item is crafted with care and the finest ingredients.
Taking pride of place in Lido Musselburgh’s state-of-the-art open kitchen is a new wood-fired pizza oven, a key feature in bringing Lido’s passion for authentic Neapolitan pizza to life.
Made fresh in-house using the finest ingredients, the pizzas are crafted with 100 per cent natural Caputo ’00’ Pizzeria flour, renowned for its light, tender, and moist finish. Each dough is kneaded and hand-stretched before being cooked to perfection in just 90 seconds.
Topped with premium San Marzano tomatoes, delicious Fior di Latte mozzarella, and an array of carefully selected ingredients, these pizzas promise to be a standout feature on the menu.
Operated by one of Scotland’s leading hospitality groups, Buzzworks, Head of Food, Scott van der Hoek, revealed: “We’re excited to bring Lido to the East Coast and showcase our much-loved menu."

Following on from the success of sister venues already operating in Troon and Prestwick, fitting works have started on the company’s third Lido opening, representing the family-run business’ first venture into Musselburgh and generating more than 60 new jobs for the local economy.
A first for Lido Musselburgh will be its all new dedicated to go area, with its own entrance and order area. Orders can be placed inside, online or by calling Lido Musselburgh to pop in to collect.
Recruitment is also in full swing, and staff training is about to begin, ensuring the team is ready to deliver Buzzworks' signature welcoming hospitality.
