The Great British Family Business 2015
30th November 2014 Paul Andrews
Join us and some great speakers providing their insights and inspiration to the family business community at this exciting family business masterclass.
Family businesses are getting more and more recognition for the contribution they make to the British economy and beyond so join us in London for a great family business event designed to celebrate family business. Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2014 the conference will seek to look into the challenges associated with running a business and how you protect the firm when it is your name that is above the door.
The intention is to look at how to protect the family business when building successful family firms of tomorrow, harnessing the power of the family whilst developing the right governance structures too. You can find out more about the event, speakers and venue at our bespoke conference website here
Our speakers will come from all parts of the family business spectrum, and all over the UK sharing their own insights and perspectives including:
- Adrian Maxwell, Managing Director - Fracino, the second generation and award winning manufacturer of coffee machines in the UK
- Christoher Nieper, Managing Director - David Nieper, the second generation, vertically integrated clothing manufacturer
- Derrick Potter, Chairman - Potter Logistics, the Yorkshire based logistics and distribution business celebrating 50 years as a family firm in 2015
- Juliette Johnson, Founder - Juliette Johnson Consultancy, one of the UK's leading family business advisers hosting a family business governance session

"Yesterday was wonderful! Thank you so much. It was so strange for me to attend wearing a non Private Client Lawyer hat. I learned so much, and the day made me feel very proud to be part of an albeit very small family business."
