The awards keep coming to this jewel in the crown!
Harrogate’s Rudding Park Hotel, Spa & Golf has been voted ‘Number One Hotel in the UK’, ‘Second in the Top Hotels of Europe’ and ‘Fourth in the Top Hotels of the World’ in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2013.
Favouring Yorkshire over London, travellers gave Rudding Park its distinctive place in the UK , triumphing over some of the finest hotels in London. What’s more, this is the third time in the last four years that Rudding Park has won the national award.
These prestigious recognitions are based solely on the millions of real and unbiased reviews and opinions from travellers gathered on the travel guide website www.tripadvisor.com.
Peter Banks, Managing Director at Rudding Park said “Winning this national award three times in the last four years is a tremendous achievement. The fact we are also placed as a top hotel in Europe and The World is a wonderful accomplishment for the whole team."
"Travellers may use star ratings as a guide but it is TripAdvisor where genuine travellers express their opinions. These opinions then help other members of the TripAdvisor community make their choice with confidence. Hotels are now judged on every guest’s experience on a daily basis so there is nowhere to hide!I am extremely proud of every member of our team. We strive to provide the best possible value through a real care for our guests, experienced within the highest quality environment.”
“TripAdvisor is once again thrilled to recognise the world’s most outstanding hotels with the help of more than 75 million reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe,” said Christine Petersen, president, TripAdvisor for Business.
Gary Verity, Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: “This is an incredible achievement, and one that is richly deserved. Yorkshire’s quality hotels stand out from the rest of the UK and Rudding Park is a great example of a hotel that is constantly looking to raise the bar.”
