An Inspired New Partnership For Scotts of Thrapston

Family business joins forces with the Royal Horticultural Society

Scotts of Thrapston is proud to announce an agreement that will see the Northamptonshire firm produce a collection of garden buildings for the Royal Horticultural Society.
Scotts has been designing and building the nation’s finest summerhouses since before the Second World War, when it produced stunning garden buildings for the British gentry, pioneers of this now quintessentially British garden accessory
Under this new agreement Scotts will design and build a series of designs that capture the essence of the RHS, with the launch of the first RHS garden buildings perfectly timed around this year’s centenary Chelsea Flower Show (May 21-25).
It’s a new partnership that has been enthusiastically embraced by both Scotts of Thrapston and the RHS. “The Royal Horticultural Society is delighted to be collaborating with Scotts of Thrapston, renowned for their garden structures. Scotts has been inspired by the collection of historic building illustrations in the RHS Lindley Library to create a distinctive and unique range of summerhouses and garden buildings,” says RHS licensing manager, Grant Tripp.
David Scott, chairman of Scotts of Thrapston, adds: “It’s a privilege to be working with the Society, which is recognised and respected not just in this country, but around the world, for the incredible work that it does. Here at Scotts we are proud of our long history of producing some of the nation’s finest summerhouses and garden buildings and feel very excited about our new partnership, the timing of which couldn’t be better, with the Chelsea Flower Show’s centenary just months away.”
