Agriculture Merchants Take Up Challenge

12th July 2018 Paul Andrews

Members of the McCreath Simpson & Prentice (MSP) team have set off on their leg of the Grain and Feed Trade (GAFT) Charity Cycle Relay, from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh.

Taking place between 19th June and 31st July, over 70 feed and grain businesses will travel 3700 miles around the country in support of this challenge, with the MSP team taking on a 60 mile trip.

The relay bike ride aims to raise money and awareness for The Farming Community Network and RSABI, who both provide emotional, practical and financial support to individuals in the agriculture industry across the UK.

David Cairns, Agrochemical/Grass Seed Director at MSP said: “When we heard about the charity cycle GAFT were planning we just knew we wanted to be a part of it. As big supporters of RSABI and the work it does for the agriculture industry we are proud to be able to raise money for the important cause."

“With some keen cyclists in the team, it will be an exciting challenge for us all!”
