The Family Business Apprentice of the Year recognises the contribution made by an apprentice working within a family business. Awarded annually this prize reflects the work done by an apprentice that goes above and beyond that expected and rewards their endeavour that has been recognised by their peers and the broader business management team.
Providing practical on the job experience whilst working towards a qualification, apprentices are seen as the future in many sectors of the UK economy. This award seeks to identify an outstanding individual that embodies the role and more than makes a contribution to the firm providing them with the opportunity.
Nominations are sought from family firms all over the UK and the apprentice can be working in any area of the business as an apprentice. Entries need to be made online using the form provided in advance of the closing date, September 30, and then the judges will deliberate and determine a shortlist.
The next stage in the process will be an online interview with the apprentice and a member of the management team before the judges deliberate and determine the winners.
Further details will be announced in due course.
