Essentially, this campaign is a national tea break where we are encouraging family firms to get their staff together for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat on the morning of September 15, 2023.
A full marketing pack will be made available to everyone signing up to make the most of their involvement and we will supply participants with suggestions as to how they can get more involved, either by way of fundraising (cake sales etc) on the day or by collecting non-perishable food items to take to their local food bank.
All that we ask is that participants take plenty of pictures to share on social media and let us know of any funds raised and foodbank parcels donated so that we can measure the campaign impact.
We know that many UK family firms have their preferred charity partners and are happy for them to support whichever charity they want as part of the campaign too.
During the current economic climate we are also aware that many more people than normal are struggling with food poverty and to that end thought that collecting food items in the run up to the event and donating them to a local campaign would help family firms support the community in which they operate too.
In due course we will also be sharing details of regional charity hubs that have agreed to be part of the campaign too.
