Facilitated by Paul Andrews our panel of experts will share their insights on the key factors that underpin family business success.

All too often the ‘rags to rags’ in three generations anecdote is referenced yet there are plenty of global family businesses that have been around for more than three generations. So what is the key to their success and what drives these businesses to succeed for multiple generations?

Our panel will share their thoughts on the key factors that are found in successful longstanding businesses.

Our panel comprises:

Sian Steele – Now an independent family business consultant based in the UK but for many years she was the global head of family business for PwC advising and implementing families in business on all aspects of their family business including governance, succession, board structure and next generation.

Dr. Josh Baron – Josh is a co-founder and Partner at BanyanGlobal. For the last decade, he has worked closely with families who own assets together, such as operating companies, family foundations, and family offices. He helps these families to define their purpose as owners and to establish the structures, strategies, and skills they need to accomplish their goals. Josh is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, where he teaches MBA courses on Family Business Management and Managing Conflict in Family Business. He also teaches in the Enterprising Families Executive Education Program.

Greg McCann – As an author, educator, coach, consultant, and speaker, Greg McCann works with family enterprises in the areas of leadership, succession, communication, conflict resolution, and with a special emphasis on leadership.
