MOKE has a new home at Hendy Group in Hampshire with the iconic brand now settling into its new surroundings in Southampton.
The expansion of the group’s performance brand sees MOKE move to the division’s Southampton centre, just off the M3 in Eastleigh. Harry Pearson, head of brand for Hendy Performance, said the move from Poole brings MOKE into the heart of the division.
“Hendy Performance is a key area of growth for the group this year and having MOKE in our Southampton centre gives our customers and potential buyers easy access to the MOKE range,” he said.
“Southampton offers the perfect location for customers along the south coast while our MOKE representation in Exeter caters for the south west market.”
“The move will also see us welcome a dedicated sales manager to the MOKE brand, with the appointment of Steve French who will bring the luxury brand to life for all of our customers.”
Harry said the electric MOKE is the centrepiece of the new showroom, with the car proving a popular choice for those looking for a fun vehicle and zero emissions. The vehicle will also take centre stage at a number of events that the brand plans to attend in the region, including the Goodwood Members Meet 15th – 16th April and at Cowes Week from 29th July until 4th August.
The MOKE move is also an integral part of the group’s overall expansion plans in the area for 2023.
Hendy Group is also expanding its Nissan, Renault and Dacia operation in Eastleigh with work now underway for a major new state of the art dealership complex on a brownfield site in nearby St George’s Way.
