A couple of years ago the team at Family Business United ran a campaign to create the ‘Face of Family Business’ which was a montage of people involved in family firms across the country. This year we are looking to create a ‘Map of Family Business Britain’ which will be unveiled at the National Family Business Dinner on September 21, 2023.
We are inviting anyone involved in the family business sector to provide images for a national montage which will take the shape of a map of the nation. Images can be family members, management, key employees, products, buildings, vehicles reflecting the family firm or pictures from the past that showcase the history and heritage behind the business.
The final montage will be 1 metre wide by 1.5 metres tall and after being unveiled at the dinner, images will be shared on social media and everyone involved will receive details of the final ‘artwork’ and how to use it.
Space within the montage is limited so early submission of images is recommended. To be involved, simply purchase the number of images that you would like to submit for the montage and then the team will be in touch to obtain the images and share details of how to make the most of your involvement in the campaign. FBU will also be promoting those involved on social media and releasing various news pieces on www.familybusinessunited.com during the campaign too.
As Paul Andrews, Founder and CEO of Family Business United explains, “We are always looking for different ways to showcase the family business sector and to demonstrate the depth and diversity of family firms across the UK. Family firms are the engine room of the UK economy and are well represented in all corners of the country.”
“We look forward to creating a unique representation of ‘Family Business Britain 2023’ and sharing it in due course, helping once again to amplify the family business voice and reinforce the importance of the sector to the UK today,” concludes Paul.
