Bonfire Night certainly went with a bang for the finalist of this year’s National Fenestration Awards. Amongst those celebrating, was the team from Lancashire Trade Frames which took home the coveted Manufacturer/Fabricator of the year award.
The National Fenestration Awards are going from strength to strength. This year there were over 2,000 nominations across thirty-five categories, and with over 29,000 votes cast, it’s clear these awards are an important indicator of the industry’s views and preferences. Rather than a judging panel, winners are chosen by their peers, making victory a real honour and a recognition of outstanding achievement.
Lancashire Trade Frames was established in 2003, and has had several previous wins in various awards, but MD Mark Rowland was especially delighted by this one. He said, “It comes as the industry is navigating a very challenging period. We have faced soaring demand, followed by supply chain issues and soaring input costs. The win shows that we are still managing to deliver what installers need. Trade isn’t just part of our name. We never forget those who rely on us. The bonus of this award is that it’s voted by people, not a panel of judges which makes it extra special.”
Although originally a PVC-u specialist, Lancashire Trade Frames has kept on pushing the boundaries. As it approaches its 20th anniversary, its range now includes aluminium, composites and glass. It continues to push for excellence, and even during a challenging period has collected both new accreditations and awards for its approach.
Mark Rowland promised that the win wouldn’t mean the business taking its foot off the gas. “We’re thrilled by the win, but we won’t rest on our laurels. This industry is ever-changing and needs suppliers who are prepared to keep pushing. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us. Their custom built our business and we won’t let them down.”
