The Coffee Shop & Restaurant team at Perrywood Tiptree are delighted to have raised £7,000 to purchase an ultrasound machine for the Emergency Assessment Unit at Colchester Hospital. A total of £5,750 was collected in tips by the team (every year, the team very kindly donate all their tips to charity) and £1,250 was kindly donated by Mr Kenworthy, in memory of his wife.
Since 2018, a total of £21,040 has been donated in tips money. With this money, the Coffee Shop & Restaurant team have now purchased this ultrasound machine and a total of 154 fans, Christmas presents for patients, dementia boxes, play equipment for the children’s ward, an LED ceiling light and two cardiac machines.
