The date is set, and as has become the norm over the past few years, National Family Business Day #GBFamilyBizDay is taking place on September 23, 2022.
As Paul Andrews, Founder and CEO of Family Business United explains; “This is a key date in our annual calendar as it affords all family firms across the country to get involved in a campaign to raise awareness of the importance of family firms to the UK economy. It gives us a chance to celebrate their contribution as a force for good, the employment they provide, the income they generate and the wealth they create, and to have some fun at the same time.”
As an organisation Family Business United is recognised for the work it does to champion this sector of the economy and National Family Business Day is just one of the key campaigns undertaken annually for family firms.
As Paul adds; “We are looking forward to making National Family Business Day 2022 even bigger than last year when the hashtag once again trended on social media. It is a great day and always a celebration of the businesses that are at the heart of our communities. It is an honour to do what we do and great to see things come together in celebration on September 23 each year.”
The team at Family Business United have collated a campaign pack for family businesses and those serving family business clients to use in the run up to, and on the day, an ‘official partner’ offer and made available T-shirts to enable more proactive engagement on National Family Business Day too.
