Perrywood Donates Trees to Local Communities

The Perrywood team have been on the road this week delivering trees to local schools and charities to support The Queen’s Green Canopy, a tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this year.

Everyone from individuals to community groups, villages and schools across the UK are encouraged to take part to enhance the environment by planting trees. Every tree planted brings benefits for people, wildlife and climate, now and for the future.

This week, Perrywood Tiptree has donated trees to the following local schools and charities: Abberton Rural Training, Birch Church of England Primary School, Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity, Farleigh Hospice, Kids Inspire, Messing Primary School, Milldene Primary School, St Helena Hospice, St Luke’s Church of England Primary School, Tiptree Heath Primary School and Together We Grow CIC.

Debbie Wrigley, Communications Manager at Perrywood comments: “Supporting our local community is very important to us at Perrywood, as is protecting and enhancing the environment. We are delighted to have donated trees to local schools and charities to give them the opportunity to ‘plant a tree for the Jubilee’, an incredible tree-planting project in celebration of the Queen’s 70 years of Service to the Nation.”
