Calztec are delighted to now have three Kickstarters in their business. Thanks to the scheme put forward by the government, Calztec are pleased to welcome two new kickstarters to the team. They include Giavanni Edwards, Assistant Contracts Manager and Callum Fyles who is their new Marketing Assistant.
The scheme provides funding to create jobs for 16 to 24 years olds on universal credit, giving the opportunity to get back into employment and gain invaluable on the job skills and experiences, that they may not have otherwise had access to.
Calztec joined the scheme to help reduce unemployment in the local area and to promote construction as a career route for young people.
Sophie Clarke, COO at Calztec, said: “On learning about the scheme, I was very keen to bring in young trainees into Calztec to give them a taste of working in the design, fit-out and refurbishment sector. We have plans to grow as a business and expect to offer candidates that have excelled a permanent position at the end of the programme.”
