The UK’s leading producer of specialist double sided and differential release paper and release film, Cotek Papers Limited, has been sold to German manufacturer of silicone coated films and papers, Laufenberg.
Cotek has established a reputation for highly quality and innovative solutions in the production of accurate and stable silicone release coatings on all types of paper and film, for both standard and customer-specific solutions, produced on the latest generation of solvent free coating machinery.
Its customers include manufacturers of double sided adhesive tapes, hot melt adhesive packaging, butyl mastic sealant and pre-preg composite fibre, together with companies in the medical, graphic art, automotive, personal hygiene and bag closures industries.
Co-directors of the family-run and owned business, Adam and Scott Hazell sold the business with advice from the corporate and commercial team at Lodders Solicitors.
