Willmott Dixon’s People Claim Four Golds And Four Silvers At Construction’s Oscars

Willmott Dixon people took top honours at the construction industry’s equivalent to the Oscars, which recognises the nation’s best project managers.

There were four golds and four silver medals for the company’s finalists at the 2021 Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA), hosted by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). These annual awards are a highlight of the year with ten different categories, recognising outstanding achievement from the industry’s top performing project managers.

Gold medals for Willmott Dixon went to Shaun Burrows for his delivery of Delamere Forest Visitors Centre in Cheshire, Chris Linfoot of Willmott Dixon Interiors for his work on the iconic Grade II listed Old Admiralty Building in London, Nick Preedy for delivering the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building at the University of Warwick, and Jack Wells for the creation of the Homestead Building at Oaklands College.

Silver medals were awarded to David John for Llys Cadwyn in Pontypridd, Lianne Lawson for the delivery of the Dixons Trinity Capeltown all-through school, Andy Mitchell for the Ropemaker’s Academy in Hailsham, and to Mick Hill for his delivery of the The Beeches & The Nevilles housing project.
