Over the past year the nation has found peace in the outdoors, reflecting in both public and private gardens. We also know that there are many family owned garden centres the length and breadth of the UK so we have decided to conduct a search to identify some of the oldest in the country.

Many of these businesses will have been around for generations and we are keen to share their stories and to shine a light on a sector that has helped with so much in the past year too.”
