Here at Family Business United (‘FBU’) we are constantly looking for new ways to celebrate the family business sector and we are delighted to announce the launch of our new campaign, The Faces of Family Business.
In the past we have done campaigns using images of family firms to create the Union Jack flag composed of liveried vehicles, people and products from the family business community. This year, we wanted to do something more personal and include images of family members and leaders of family firms across the UK.
To take part, all we need is a high resolution head and shoulders image of a leader/director of the family business, their name and job title and we will do the rest. The final campaign will feature our ‘face of faces, a collage of family business leaders and directors from all over the UK.
All participants will receive a marketing pack in due course with a copy of the final image to celebrate being part of the campaign.
As Paul Andrews, Founder and CEO of FBU explains, “Our purpose is to raise the bar and celebrate the contribution that family firms make to the UK economy and beyond. The past year in particular has not been easy and we wanted to create something that highlights the depth and diversity of the sector across the country.”
“With over six million family firms employing more than 13 million people these firms make a massive contribution, not just through the provision of jobs, income generation and wealth creation but also through their support of the communities in which they operate. This campaign is the latest to showcase family firms and help dispel some of the myths around the sector and to highlight their importance to the nation.”
“We are looking forward to creating something rather special,” concludes Paul.
