Speedo has signed American butterfly and medley specialist Andrew Seliskar to its roster of swimmers ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.

The 24-year-old is a three-time NCAA Champion and World Championship medallist, helping Team USA to bronze in the 4x200m freestyle relay in 2019. He also holds the all-time record for most Pac-12 Conference title wins, where he is an 11-time individual champion.

2019 was a huge year for Seliskar who was named PAC-12 Swimmer of the Year and NCAA Male Swimmer of the Year after winning the 200y individual medley, 200y freestyle and 200y breaststroke crowns at the NCAA Championships.

Following the announcement, Seliskar said: “Swimming has always been a passion project of mine. I want to see how far I can push myself in the pursuit of greatness and I will never sacrifice my love of the sport. Speedo has always been at the forefront of innovation in swimming and I can’t wait to see how we can work together to help me get where I want to be.”

Sean Kavanagh, Global Director of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship at Speedo, says: “Andrew is one of the brightest prospects in USA Swimming right now and we’re really pleased he’s chosen to join Team Speedo. It’s great to have him as part of the family.”
