OCS have become the first ‘Trusted Partner’ of ProtectED, a pioneering scheme that aims to raise student safety, security and wellbeing standards across the UK higher education sector.
Universities have a critical role to play in ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of their students – not only on campus but throughout their student experience. The ProtectED Membership and Accreditation scheme makes it easier for prospective students and their parents to identify those HE institutions committed to implementing good practice. As a Trusted Partner organisation, OCS will support ProtectED in safeguarding the student experience, sharing insight and promoting improved practice.
ProtectED Director, Brian Nuttall says: “I’m delighted to welcome OCS as a ProtectED Trusted Partner. This global organisation, built on family values and a strong sense of community, is an ideal partner for ProtectED and aligns well with our principles. We look forward to working alongside OCS in the development of ProtectED and in improving standards in the higher education sector and beyond.”
Ian Nisbet, Managing Director, Healthcare & Education, adds: “The wellbeing, safety and security of students is at the forefront of our service delivery model and this partnership will allow us to align our policies, processes and delivery to an award-winning, nationally recognised accreditation scheme. We look forward to working closely with ProtectED to deliver tangible benefits to our current and future customers.”
