Angelcare Partner With Prep’d Kitchen To Support Local Community

Local private care home Angelcare have opened up their kitchen space to ready-made delivery service Prep’d Kitchen. This new partnership will give Prep’d a professional-grade cooking location, while simultaneously providing premium meals for Angelcare residents.

Angelcare Residential Living is a private care home situated on a historic Georgian property in Calderdale. Angelcare is a family company, headed by Director Thomas Enefer, whose family has three generations worth of healthcare experience behind them. The only fully private care home in the area, they provide several services, including dementia care, short term stays for those recovering from surgery, and full live-in care for those who require it.

Angelcare’s space, which has been outfitted with luxury amenities, is the product of a revitalisation effort of the iconic building they are located in; previously known as Ingwood Restaurant, which was a popular attraction during the 1970’s and 80’s. The kitchen itself has gone through a full upgrade, which made it a particularly advantageous choice for the partnership.

Prep’s Kitchen, run by professional chef David Woffenden, is a service that provides fresh, ready-made meals, in an effort to make restaurant-quality dishes more accessible to those with busy lifestyles. They offer a changing menu of both every-day meals and special occasion offerings, such as Valentine’s Day specials.

Both Woffenden and Enefer saw that by sharing their complementary resources, they had the opportunity to expand their own business capabilities while bringing a new asset to West Vale, which has attracted significant investment in recent years. The kitchen will improve Woffenden’s capacity by virtue of its restaurant-quality facilities, and he will use it going forward as a base for creating his meals for the general public, as well as Angelcare Residents.

Thomas Enefer says of this: “At Angelcare we are committed to not only consistently improving our services, but supporting local industry in the area we call home. We want to see our community thrive, and we understand that such efforts will be beneficial to all who reside and do business here. We are delighted to be furthering this goal by partnering with Prep’d; a company that we know our residents and local people alike will love.”
