Company Description

As well as being the oldest accountancy firm retaining its original name, Lovewell Blake is also one of the most innovative in serving clients. We began developing specialist teams 20 years ago to cover the needs of particular professions and business sectors – family business advisory is one of those specialist services.

We are also members of HLB International, one of the leading international accountancy networks.

I am a Chartered Accountant and partner at Lovewell Blake LLP, a leading firm of independent accountants in East Anglia. I have over 20 years experience of providing audit, accountancy, tax & advisory services to clients in a variety of sectors, the majority of which are family owned & managed.

Having been brought up in a family business environment, I have first-hand experience of the impact of the interaction between the family business and family relationships.

Having been awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Advising Family Businesses in 2008, I lead the specialist Family Business Advisory team at Lovewell Blake, assisting family business clients with matters such as succession planning and family charters.

I am a Fellow of the International Centre for Families In Business.

I run a family business club in Norfolk, providing opportunities for family businesses to visit other family businesses and share experiences. I also speak at family business events and write a monthly column for the business pages of the local paper, focusing on family business issues.
