Third Family Member Joins TPS

TPS Global Logistics welcomes the 3rd Smith family member to the team.

Managing Director Matt Smith has expanded the sales and marketing team to include a customer services role and on 7th January 2019 Michelle Bristow joined her brothers Matt and Toby Smith to complete the family team at this family lead organisation.

TPS Global Logistics has been trading since 2003 and is named in memory of Tim Paul Smith, Matt’s father, who was hugely influential when he was forming the business, Tim’s encouragement, experience and knowledge of the industry was fundamental in building the foundations of the company.

Commenting on the appointment, Matt said: "I am delighted to be welcoming my sister to the team, I think Dad would be very proud of what we have achieved with the business over the last 15 years. As the company continues to grow, Michelle will be responsible for keeping in touch with all of our customers to ensure we continue to meet our service standards."

The company has grown steadily over the last 15 years, winning 2 prestigious Queen’s Awards as well as industry accolades, and now employs 45 people at its newly refurbished warehouse and distribution facility in Aylesford, Kent. Services include freight forwarding, warehousing and fulfilment, time critical delivery, IT and event logistics, UK and European Transport, same and next day courier services.
