The FBU Family Business Golf Tournament 2017
3rd April 2017 Paul Andrews
Join us at the beautiful family owned and run Tewkesbury Park Hotel for the inaugural Family Business United Golf Tournament where the winner will receive the Plan Insurance Trophy.
Our first ever golf event will commence with registration where coffee and bacon sandwiches will be served before the first players tee of at 11.00am. The round of golf will be followed by a two-course carvery supper and prize giving before adjourning to the bar to relax over a few drinks, make friends and network. For those wanting to stay over rooms can be booked directly with the hotel.
We are delighted to be working on this event with the team at family owned Plan Insurance who are sponsoring the tournament and the champion's trophy too.
Tewkesbury Park Hotel is easily accessible by road, rail and air (Bristol and Birmingham airports) and in the grounds of the hotel is the 6,579 yard Par 72 course which has some classic, mature features such as veteran oak trees and greens that are in impressive condition too. There are fine views of the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills and Tewkesbury Abbey and the course has benefited from the advice of Peter McEvoy (ex England Amateur Champion and Walker Cup Captain) and international agronomist John Clarkin, who has prepared courses for Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three golfers, with additional prizes for nearest the pin and the longest drive.
We are looking forward to a fun, competitive day of golf with plenty of opportunities to make new contacts within the FBU family business community too. Book your tickets to join us for the inaugural event in September.
Please note, spaces for professional advisers have been restricted to maximise the opportunities for family businesses. There are sponsorship opportunities available to enable advisers to participate starting at £295 plus VAT to sponsor a hole which includes two tickets for players in the tournament so please do contact email@example.com if you want to find out more about this, or other sponsorship packages available.
