The Family Business Leaders Top 100

24th February 2017 Paul Andrews

The search is on to find the Top 100 Family Business Leaders in the UK today.  Nominate a family business leader that you feel deserves to be recognised.

Always on the search for innovative ways to champion the family business sector, Family Business United is on the search for the Top 100 Family Business Leaders across the UK.  Sponsored by Farrer & Co, this project seeks to identify 100 people who truly represent the diversity and strength of leadership at the helm of family firms across the UK.

Nominations are now open until the end of April, so why not nominate an inspirational family business leader today.

Once the nominations have been received we will contact the nominees to secure a full bio and to confirm their acceptance of the nomination prior to convening a panel of judges to discuss those nominated.

Ten leaders from each of our ten regions will then be identified as the regional winners and move forward into the Top 100 and a report will be produced and published in due course, highlighting publicly dynamic leaders and great ambassadors for the sector.

As Paul Andrews, Founder and Managing Director of Family Business United, the award-winning magazine and resource centre for family firms and their advisers adds, "We are looking for leaders from the family business sector who demonstrate a strong and sustainable leadership of the family firm, and in some cases they may not be family members, but the commitment, drive and determination to lead the family firm is apparent for all to see."

As Richard Lane, Head of Family Business at sponsors Farrer & Co adds, "There are some fantastic family firms across the UK and they really are the engine room of the economy, providing employment and revenues, supporting communities and making a real difference to their broader stakeholders.  Each and every one of them has someone at the helm who is steering the business and we are looking forward to meeting some fantastic leaders and ambassadors for the family business sector during the course of this initiative."

Nominations are now open using the simple nomination form here

We look forward to meeting some great family business leaders from all corners of the UK.

Further details, including the panel of judges will be announced in due course.
