Adcock Keeping It Cool At Cambridge RUFC

27th February 2018 Paul Andrews

Works are well underway for Cambridge RUFC who are undergoing an extension on their clubhouse with a little help from family firm Adcock UK.

Adcock were asked to provide air conditioning to three key areas of the extension. The project required a flexible approach with small areas of workspace. Adcock have collaborated with a number of trades which have all been sourced by the rugby club with communication with the other trades seen as crucial throughout the process.

The extension of the current clubhouse will provide new changing rooms and associated facilities and will allow the club to introduce girls rugby and it will increase the community use of the club too.

CRUFC have expressed their appreciation with the work that Adcock have carried out, as Rob Dean the Chairman of Cambridge Rugby Club said:  “We are very pleased with the installation carried out by Adcock which provides us with the up to date facilities we desperately needed. Adcock have worked with us and our other subcontractors in a flexible fashion which we very much appreciate.”

CRUFC and Adcock have a long term relationship which has seen Adcock support the growth of the club through sponsorship and advertising. The clock and scoreboard situated beside the main pitch were provided by Adcock. Cambridge RUFC are in National League 1 for senior rugby and as Phillip Prior, Chairman of Adcock added, "We are proud to continue our association with the Cambridge Rugby Club and wish them every success in the future."
